Kevin Monroe, B.A., is the founder and Managing Partner of X Factor Consulting, LLC. X Factor Consulting is a marketing and management firm that helps grassroots organizations achieve maximum IMPACT with their clients, communities and causes through affordable tools, technologies and training.
Kevin's passion for nonprofit organizations is evident in the results he has achieved working with organizations such as the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Prevent Child Abuse Georgia and the Learning Community at SafeHouse Outreach.
He works with a broad range of nonprofit organizations across the country helping them identify and implement best practices of organizational and leadership development in extremely practical ways. Kevin is an avid observer of leadership and its impact on organizations and devotes his energy and creativity to developing resources that strengthen nonprofit leaders.
Kevin offer grassroots organizations valuable tools for championing change and building partnerships in their community through his training and leadership. Since 2002, he has conducted training for over 5,000 leaders from grassroots faith-based and community organizations in 25 states and Puerto Rico. His training areas of influence include sustainability, board and leadership development, effective collaboration, and the role of faith-based social service delivery.
As an expert of Charitable Choice Legislation, Kevin provides training and technical assistance to state agencies and faith-based organizations. This training explains how faith-based organization can accept federal funding and remain true to their faith-based identity and mission.
Locally, Kevin is the lead training for the Learning Community at SafeHouse Outreach in Atlanta, a capacity building program for grassroots organizations funded by the Compassion Capital Fund from the Administration of Children and Families. He has led workshops for Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, the Georgia Family Council, Promoting Safe and Stable Families, Family Connection Partnership, and the LEAD Institute.
In addition to his training of grassroots organizations, state agencies and faith-based organizations, Kevin is a gifted and influential speaker. As a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association, he speaks regularly at regional and national conferences for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) where since 2002 he has served as a consultant.
Kevin has two adult children and resides in Woodstock, GA with Gwen, his wife of 28 years. He received his Bachelors of Arts from Mercer University and is currently pursuing his graduate degree in Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University.
